Directions:
With soft white, ch 6, sl st in
first ch to form ring, (ch 3 counts as first dc throughout)
Rnd
1: Ch 3, 15 dcs in ring, sl st in top of beginning ch, finish off.
(16 dcs) Finish off.
Rnd 2: With Lt. Periwinkle sl st around
any post (as to bpdc) of dc; ch 4 (counts as first bpdc) * fpdc around
next st, ch 1, bpdc around next dc, ch 1,*repeat from * to * around,
end with sl st
in top of beginning ch.
Rnd 3: Ch 3, * dc
in ch 1 sp, fpdc around next st, dc in next ch 1 sp, bpdc around next st,*
repeat from * to * around, end with sl st in top of beginning ch. Finish
off.
Rnd 4: With Lt Sage sl st in any fpdc, ch 3, 2dc, ch 3,
3 dc in same st as joining (beginning corner made), ch 2, (dc, ch1,dc) in
next fpdc (V st made), ch 2 , *(3 dc,ch3, 3dc) in the next fpdc
(corner made). ch2, V st, ch2, * repeat from * to * around, end with
sl st in top of beginning ch.
Rnd 5: Ch 1, sl st around post
of same st as joining (as to bpdc), ch 3, bpdc around next 2 sts, *3 sc in
ch 3 sp, bpdc around next 3 sts, sc in ch 2 sp, fpdc around next st,
sc in ch 1 sp, fpdc around next st, sc in ch 2 sp, bpdc around next 3
st* repeat from * to * around, end with sl st in top of beginning
ch. Finish off.
Rnd 6: With Soft White, sl st in any
center st of a 3 sc corner group, ch 3, 2 dc, ch 3, 3 dc) in same st as
joining, * sk 1 st, dc in next st, sk 1 st, V st in next st, sk 2 sts, V
st in next st, sk 2 sts, V st in next st, sk 1 st, dc in next st, make
corner in center st of 3 sc corner group* repeat from * to * around, end
with sl st in top of beginning ch.
Rnd 7: Sl st in next 2 sts
and into ch 3 sp, ch 3, 2dc, ch 3, 3 dc in same st as joining, * sk 2 sts,
V st in next st, (v st in ch 1 sp between V sts in row below) 3 times, sk
2 st, V st in next st, sk 2 sts, make corner group, end with sl st in top
of beginning ch. Finish off.
Rnd 8: With Lt Sage attach with
a sc in any ch 3 sp, 2 sc in same sp, sc in every st and ch 1 sp around,
having 3 scs in corner ch 3 sps, sl st in beginning sc. Finish
off.
Squares should be joined with the lattice stitch in Lt
Sage. Sc around entire afghan having 3 scs in
corners.
